jewelry FAQ,
online business tips When I checked on tradekey, and other B2B forums, and many websites of other competitors, who put an 100% 925 sterling silver guaranteed on their website, I always doubt, should I put the same words on my website too? Should I put that on my online store www.silver4sell.net too? Because, If I did not put that on my website, I will definitely lose some potential buyers.
I also face the same questions when my clients ask:” is this products is real 925 sterling silver?” I have to think a lot before I saying yes or no.. Technique speaking, there is no real 925 sterling silver replicas selling in the China market, but, there are so many poeple who carry the same stock like ours are claimed that what they are selling are actually 925 sterling silver.
Here we go back to the very original question:” Do you know what is 925 sterling silver refer to?” It is a 92.5% silver with other alloy, which may be copper or brass. As a wholesaler who have been selling Tiffany, Gucci, Links of London replicas and inspired jewelry for so many years, I finally find out there is no real 925 sterling silver replicas in China market, not unless you place your own OEM order. From factory to the wholesalers, when they are saying 925 sterling silver, simply they all refer to the products we are selling here, which is made of basic metal ( white copper with thick sterling silver plated over it, some finished with rhodium or platinum). I have also asked some of our regular wholesale clients, who sells a lot of designer inspired items in UK and USA, “do you know all these products are not exactly 92.5% silver, do you worry about if your clients are finally find out that it is not 925 sterling silver as it is stamped? ” They said yes, we knew it, but our clients do not know it, they all presumed it was 925 sterling silver. I find out there is actually a market concept misleading that all the buyers and sellers are take it as 925 sterling silver… So when my clients asking me the same questions, I have to think if this client is a professional jewelry master or simply a regular buyers? If he is professional jewelry master, he should simply know that 925 sterling silver means 92.5% silver content, but if he is regular buyer, may be what he refers to 925 sterling silver is actually the stuff we selling here. I have to check out the customers; background before I give an Yes or no answer. For a real jewelry wholesaler, the big companies, who deal a lot of 925 sterling silver, I have to told the truth, because this is the only way we could keep our business on-going on an honest foundation. As for regular buyers, I might play the word games, while this is actually the 925 sterling silver selling on the market, you can always buy the samples to check the quality. I feel bad when I am saying this, but I can not telling them straightly, that this is not 925 sterling silver products… If I am saying so, they will definitely turn around and say goodbye…, they will order from some other suppliers who claim that their products is 100% 925 sterling silver with a higher price, but after all, they are getting the same stock, or even the stock of lower quality. They could not tell if this is really 925 sterling silver, so they believe in words. For buyers who looking for an exact answer, I will tell them straightly, it was not made of 92.5% silver, but this is the best products you could ever find in the whole China Market, you can always place your sample orders, if you are not satisfy with the samples you get, simply send it back to us, we will refund you the money… There is no risk when you ordering from us….
Before I start my own business, I worked for a trading company, we put words like “100% 925 sterling silver guaranteed, 1:1 copy of the original” etc, on our website, which , of course, attracted a lot of customers, customers never doubt about what they are buying is not 925 sterling silver. Some of them take it to acid test, or some even cut it into halves, every way they heard about how to find out it is 925 sterling silver or not, but they all approved the quality of our products. The only one who find out it is not 925 sterling silver is the one whose stock get hold by the US customs, they took it to test and told her that it was not real 925 sterling silver.. before that, we never have clients find out. At first place I believe it was 925 sterling silver too, because it has so beautiful outlays, pass every silver test…. after this case, I ask my boss, Is all our products are really 925 sterling silver? Why our client saying the customs finds out it is not what actually we claimed? Then my boss saying almost the same thing I am saying to some of my clients today:” All 925 stuff selling on the market are of the same quality, which like ours.” I finally understand, I was fooled and I fooled my clients without knowing it.
After I started my own business, I contacted a lot factories to see if there is any factory doing real 925 sterling silver, but it turns out, my boss was right, that the products we are carrying are the best we could ever find in the whole market, there is nothing better out there. I was trying to give my customers a better price, but at the same time, I was thinking, if my price is too good, are they going to buy it? because they might doulbt about the quality. Fortunatly, now we have gain very loyalty customers with our excellent products quality and prompt customers service… they know, they are buying the best quality products with the best price, and they dont have to worry about they have an coin waste. So if you still spend your time in thinking is that 925 sterling silver guarantee is true or not, I am asking you dont waste your time over it, just order some samples to check it out, compare the price, Let the quality and price speak… I am sure you will find out your best supplier right here at www.silver4sell.net

jewelry FAQ
Sterling silver is an alloy of silver containing 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals, usually copper. The sterling silver standard has a minimum millesimal fineness of 925.
Fine silver (99.9% pure) is generally too soft for producing large functional objects; therefore, the silver is usually alloyed with copper to give it strength, while at the same time preserving the ductility and beauty of the precious metal. Other metals can replace the copper, usually with the intent to improve various properties of the basic sterling alloy such as reducing casting porosity, eliminating firescale, and increasing resistance to tarnish. These replacement metals include germanium, zinc and platinum, as well as a variety of other additives, including silicon and boron. A number of alloys have appeared in recent years, formulated to lessen firescale or to inhibit tarnish, and this has sparked heavy competition among the various manufacturers, who are rushing to make claims of having the best formulation. However, no one alloy has emerged to replace copper as the industry standard, and alloy development is a very active area

online business tips
A few days ago, I came across an international lawyer forum, that many many buyers who looking for a supplier from China, but some of them got fraud or scammed on Tradekey. I put a reply on that thread, which is simply my experience as a jewelry wholesaler and silverkey member on Tradekey.com, The reply quoted as follows:
“Wow. good thing.. still seeing so many people try to find supplier from Tradekey.com…. Bad thing.. so many people get scammed or fraud..
As a silver key supplier on tradekey.. I guess.. I might be the sitting duck to put an reply here.. But.. I have never scam anyone.. even though, we sell replicas jewelry sometimes.. but we all have an agreement that this are not original, both of us know it.,and they are buying it because of the quality and price.. which I bet they are not going to find better offer anywhere.
Online business, buyer or supplier, we all worry about the same thing, are we going to be scammed? I have scammed twice by my UK clients.. one is an old one client who deal with us for a long long time, she place quite regular orders, normally, her order is between 1000-2000, namely replica jewelry items. She place an 2130USD order, said she transfer the money via TT.. bank transfer, hope we could send the stock as soon as possible, hurry to a show or something.. so.. I guess, this is an old clients, we have deal so many times, she wont scammed us… but I was wrong.. the money never come back.. first.. she said the bank made a mistake, and then she said she will resend it.. and then.. said she have trouble in selling replicas… and then.. disappeared…
Another time is new client.. who order 248 usd, from UK too, she said she would send the payment via western union tomorrow.. so I prepared the stock.. and because tomorrow is the weekend, I was thinking.. it might be delay for 2 days if I sent on Monday after we confirmed her payment, so.. I ask my shipping courier to pick it up.. I thought someone would not scammed me over 248 USD, ruin your reputation over such a little money is not a smart deal.. .. I was kind of naive.. one week after, the stock received, still no money, no words from the buyer..
I accept paypal, sometimes, though.. after we know the clients, we would try WU or bank transfer, Paypal charge too much, even I ask my client to pay 4% paypal fee, and we still lost over 5% during the currency convert( to withdraw the payment, we need to convert it from USD to HKD, and from HKD to RMB). So all my wholesale clients are transfer me the money via bank transfer or WU now, because.. they know they don’t have to worry about never get the stock.. for some VIP clients, I sent out the stock first.. but I have sleepless night too, for I was worrying about what if they are not sending me the money after they received the stock? Even my clients promised again and again and said where can I find such a good supplier if I lost you?.. I am still worry sometimes, because I am a small business make a low profit, over 6000USD is certainly too big money to lost… Every morning, the first thing I wake up is check my e-mail see if my clients have good news for me…
To any business, any sellers or buyers, the only key for a successful business is honesty.. to keep your words, never lie to your clients.. for example, if you are asking me if these stuff are really 925 silver, I will told you no, they are not, even over 95% wholesalers will said they are, but, we all know.. You could not buy any thing silver at such a price. If you don’t believe me, try some other supplier and buy samples with us, compared the quality and price, you will always find out ours is the best, so my clients always come back after a few months.. Because they know that I am not lying, and I wont lie, also, they know, they are not going to find a better offer.
Of course, sometimes, exception happens, you know, for replica is illegal anywhere, extremely risky when passing the customs. So.. there maybe over 1% package was caught by the customs… If it did happen, we will try to help our client out, we will resend it if their package are caught by the Chinese customs, if it was lost in the target country, we will send it at half cost.. to minimize lost for both of us, but we can not guarantee a 100% risk free. We are not commit for something we can not do. So I will suggest all my clients to do Designer inspired without designer mark, because if they are regular wholesales, they won’t worry about the MOQ which is only 5 pcs per style. And they can sell it to anywhere, online stores, over street, parties.. even on shows. SO the biggest sales from my website silver4sell is not replicas, it is what we called Designer inspired items without logo.. The same styles, just not wear replica brand name on it. This is much safer for me and my clients, only for the Links of London Sweetie style bracelet, we sold over 2000 pieces to my two UK clients, large bulk orders can always get better price. That’s why my sales is quite stable, because I have quite stable clients.
That’s my experience as a jewelry wholesaler; hopefully, you can find a wholesale like me, who will never lie.”
After post this long reply, I got many feedbacks, some of them looking for advise or asking me to recommend them a good supplier, but unfortunately, I don’t have connection to any electronic product… So here I am sorry to say that I can not help, but, If you are looking for designer inspired silver jewelry, you may come to the right person.
